Apple Sage Chicken Patties


INGREDIENTS 1 lb Ground Chicken ½ lb Bacon…chopped 2 Pink Lady Apples…peeled, cored and diced 1 small onion…diced 1/3 cup Fresh Sage…chopped Salt and Pepper to taste PREHEAT 350 In skillet, brown chopped bacon, remove with slotted spoon and set aside. Remove all but 2 tbs of bacon fat from pan and sauté onions until translucent. Add apples, season with salt and pepper and continue to cook until apples are soft. In a large bowl combine onion mixture with chicken, cooked bacon and sage. Form into a dozen patties. Using the same skillet (adding bacon grease if needed) brown patties for about 2 minutes on each side and place on foil lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
