Slow Cooked Korean Short Ribs

Today was the first nice day in at least a week. The weather was a bit warmer than the cool we've been experiencing the last week or two now. Maddie wanted to go outside and find worms before we even had breakfast. Her new thing, collecting worms and ants as her 'pets'. And she's fascinated with centipedes....eeeew. It's all good, as long as they stay outside!

I LOVE the crockpot! Especially for beautiful days like today. You toss everything in, set it and forget it. It's so nice to be able to spend the day outside with the kids and not worry about cutting things short to get dinner ready.
