Apple Crisp with Pecan Crumble

INGREDIENTS 10 Medjool Dates 5 medium Apples... 1 cup Pecans 1/2 cup Almond Flour 4 tbs Butter. .. melted 2 tbs Honey 1 1/2 tsp Apple Pie Spice

PREHEAT 350

Place Pecans into a food processor and pulse until Pecans are small crumbs. .. not too much, you don't want flour.

Toss the pecan crumbs into a bowl and add Almond Flour and apple pie spice. Mix with a fork until well combined.

Peel, core and slice Apples thin, about 1/8 inch. Place apple slices into an 8x8 baking dish.

Remove seeds and chop dates. Add to baking dish with apples and give it all a good toss, making sure dates are spread throughout the apples.

Pour melted butter into bowl with pecan mixture and stir until everything is moist and crumbly.

Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly onto Apples. Drizzle the honey on top of the pecan crumble and bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until apples are fork tender.

Serve warm.
